This was made in response to seeing the Passion Play of Christ in Oberammergau, Germany, 2022. One scene depicted Christ when He was being questioned. In this scene, the person that the crowd listened to was the loudest one. This was a powerful scene that taught me that often the loudest voice is not the correct one.

In this painting I wanted to portray this idea, and selected subject matter to act as symbols. Each item, from the ravens to the figure and unspecified object, were deliberately designed and painted to help portray the ideas behind this piece.
