My Story

I’d like to think I was born with a paintbrush in my hand, but the truth isn’t so simple. Like everyone, I had experiences that helped make me who I am. Like a slow sunrise, my creativity evolved from a lazy childhood interest into a burning passion the more I saw and the more I created. In college I sought to understand the soul-stirring, spiritual experiences I had with pieces of art, and pursued an art and philosophy degree to try to quench my thirst. Fortunately for me, that thirst just grew stronger after I graduated. As I step into life I am determined to pursue art, even if that means training unconventionally post-graduation at a classical academy. Join me as I endeavor to learn the deeply spiritual experience of making art and how to walk hand-in-hand with Christ through all of it.
